Slow-Cooked Venison

Ingredients:
- Coca-Cola
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 1 pound boneless venison roast
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup chili-garlic sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon pepper
Directions:
- Soak meat in Coca-Cola for 24 hours
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat
- Stir in onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes
- Stir in garlic and cook 2 more minutes until softened
- Place venison roast into a slow cooker, and sprinkle with onion mixture.
- Stir together ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, chili-garlic sauce, water, salt, and pepper
- Pour over the venison
- Cover and cook on Low until tender and no longer pink, 4 to 5 hours
